HOW to play or download Youtube videos in VLC medial player

Hi friends!!! Today I am going to share a cool and simple TEKITRICK, How to play and download YouTube videos using VLC media player. Downloading videos through VLC media player is simple, safe and secure. You can download any videos on online using VLC media player. I know there are many software's, websites available to download YouTube videos. But here I am going to explain downloading You Tube videos via VLC media player because it is very simple.

Below are the advantages of using this trick

1. We can see the youtube videos in VLC media player. So we can apply the VLC player feature/shortcuts on the video (like Mute, pause, forward, etc.,) . Follow the below explained procedure till step 3 to know.
2. We can see the youtube videos without Advertisements.
3. If you want to download any video then it is easy to download with VLC. And we don't require any additional software (Like youtube video downloader ) required in our system to download these videos.
4. Generally this video will download in '.mp4' format. but after downloading the video using VLC we can convert the video into any other format using same VLC software. This already explained in the one of the post Convert format of video without using any software - VLC player trick

The steps to be followed to download YouTube videos using VLC media player:-

Step 1: Copy the URL (Uniform Resource Locator) of the video you want to download from the browser’s address bar.

Step 2: Now go to VLC media player, click on Media in the menu bar and go to stream (or press ctrl + s) then a window like below is opened then go to Network.

           Media->stream->open network network

                    Note: Please use latest version of VLC media player. Some old versions of VLC media players are getting some network errors. 

Step 3:  Now paste the URL of the video you want to download in the space provided. Then hit the play button (available in the choice box) to play the video.

For just playing your video using VLC media player you just required the above 3 steps.

Further if you want to download the video you have to follow these steps too.

Step 4: For downloading the video pause the video that is playing now and go to Tools in the menu bar and then go to codec information or press ( Ctrl + j ).

             Then a window like below is appeared then go to Codec. Now copy the text in the location field.

Step 5: Now paste the text that you copied in the address bar of you browser (like chrome, Mozilla fire fox etc.,) and press enter. Then you can see that your video is playing.

To save your video right click on the video and select Save video as option to download your video. Now change the name of the video and add ".mp4" to the video name click on save. Now your video is started downloading into your system. Colorize your regular windows folders

Don't you ever feel bore  when you open the system and all your folder are in same color. Your windows has a single color folder ie., yellow. Suppose if you have too many folders in your system and suppose to open a particular file each time when you open, you need to go in to your system and have to select a folder and press the first letter of the folder that you want, sometime you may forget the folder name. So at this type of situation the below trick useful to easily identify specific folder in your system.

There an application called Folder Colorizer will be useful to your folder to apply some different color for each folders.

Download the above application by going to link.

Install the downloaded application. While installation it may ask you to uninstall several other pre-installed tools in you system. So first uninstall the other tools/application from your system. After installing Folder colorizer application you can reinstall the these tools/applications again in to your system.

After installing colorizer application. Select any folder and right click on it. Now you can see once open called “Colorize!”. Then select any color which you want to apply a folder that you selected.

Note: Technically when you open the color folder after applying the colorizer you will see a file with some color which is newly added after applying the colorizer.

Important things to follow

After applying color to you all your folders. Now you can uninstall this application(which is no more useful). But sill your folder will remain in same color that you applied. This is because of the stored file while you appending color to folder.

If you want to apply a color to any folder. Go to the colored folder which you are applied earlier and copy the specific hidden encrypted file and paste it into the new folder. Now you will see the new folder also.

Convert format of video without using any software - VLC player trick

Hi Tech reader!!!
Most of us need to a software to convert any video to Mp3 format. But now i am going to tell you how to convert a video to Mp3 format by without any additional software's. This trick will also useful to convert from one format to another format.

Step 1: Open your video in VLC media player (make sure you have to install VLC medial player in your system before proceeding to procedure)

Step 2: Go to Media tab in the menu bar (if it is not visible press Alt) or press Ctrl + Shift + O.
then the below screen will appear

Step 3: Add the file in the required filed and select the convert option in the dropdown of the play button on the below of the screen as shown in the  below figure

Step 4:  Enter the destination folder and file name with extension of the format (extension compulsory) then click on save and add the required file format in the drop down and click save.

After clicked save button, VLC will show you indication like streaming as below figure. after completing the streaming your file is ready use in required format.

Now you file is ready with required format at specified destination folder that you given while doing the procedure and your file is ready to use.

I want to share really useful unknown accessories tool by most of the people which is provided by windows OS. Sometime u might come across the situation like you have done some work which contains sequence of steps and that u wanted  to document it for the further reference. 

Generally you do first take the screenshots of each and every step(using Ms Paint /Snipping Tool) then write description in word document and past the corresponding screen under the description. It is long process and take so much time to document it.

Now I will simplify your work. your system will do documentation when your performing/Executing some sequence of steps.

Step 1: Go to Run (Win key + R)

Step 2: Type PSR and press enter

Now below screen will appear. It will capture the actions performed by you on the screen. and it also allow you to commenting something in the middle of recording so it will help you as description in the documentation. You can can also pause the recording.

At the end of you work simply press recording then it will show you the document which is prepared by system automatically. If your satisfy with the recording content then you can click on SAVE.

Awesome pendrive trick to fool your friend

Hello Tech readers . Today I am going to share you one of the funny trick to hack your friends laptop with your pen drive by simply following the below steps

Step 1:  Open notepad and copy the below two lines.

@echo off
shutdown -s -t 00

And save it with tekitricks.bat extension (.bat compulsory). (This file will shutdown your PC immediately after it is executed.)

Step 2: Now again open the new notepad and copy the below code

[autorun]

Open=tekitricks.bat

Action=Mouse Disable

And save it with tekitricks.inf extension (.inf compulsory). This file will run automatically when you connect your pen drive to your friends laptop/PC

Step 3: Now copy this files into pen drive and plug it to your friend’s laptop/PC and simply had fun with him.

Don't READ just LISTEN the PDF Document-Simple trick

Hello friends now I am going to tell you one of the simple unknown and in-built feature in Adobe PDF reader. If your PDF document is huge (say 5 MB), you need to read whole document without turn your head and it may lead to severe neck pain and you need full concentration to read the whole document. And while reading if you don't know hoe to pronounce a word you can simply use this feature by just listening

Here is the in-built feature for the users provided by ADOBE READER i.e you can LISTEN the content in the document. By simply using this feature you can minimize your strength. 

Place the cursor from where you want to listen or you can also select the only required text or paragraph by following the below step

  

Go to View menu --> Read Out Loud --> Activate Read out Loud 

Some more details:

• You can also STOP listening (Shift+Ctrl+E) PAUSE listening( Shift_Ctrl+C)
• You can also read only current page what your seeing(Shift+Ctrl+V)
• If you don't know how to pronounce a word you can simply using this feature by selecting the word and enable Read out Load (Shif+Ctrl+ Y)
